20 YEARS OF CHIVALRY FOR CHILDREN AT THE GREAT PLAINS RENIASSANCE FESTIVAL

“For herein may be seen noble chivalry, courtesy, humanity, friendliness, hardiness, love, friendship. Do after the good and leave the evil, and it shall bring you to good fame and renown.”

— Sir Thomas Malory

For 20 years, the Chivalry for Children program has been teaching modern applications of Chivalric Values here at The Great Plains Renaissance Festival. They draw from both modern and historical cues to show kids how to be more Chivalric in their own lives, and how to bring Chivalry into the world at large. Their program has ran even longer than 20 years outside of the faire, teaching at schools and organizations for around 25 years now, using pop-culture references that children understand, such as Jedi, Harry Potter, and more.

Join us in celebrating 20 years they’ve graced us with their attendance at The Great Plains Renaissance Festival – you can find Christine and Allen that The Royal Court, and the Chivalry for Children program will be held at 1 PM and 3:45 PM at The Royal Court.
