Back by popular demand! Typically nomadic, the Romani people have long acted as wandering entertainers and tradesmen. In all the places Romanies live they have become known as musicians. The wide distances travelled have introduced a multitude of influences, starting with Indian roots and adding elements of Greek, Arabic, Persian, Turkish, Czech, Slavic, Romanian, German, French and Spanish musical forms. Our Romani troupe, the Kumpania Boleyn, are a high intensity group that dazzle young and old alike with their daredevil acrobatic fire dancing all to the beat of tribal drums. Performing throughout the day – seeing their act once will leave you wanting more! Don’t say we didn’t warn you! Huzzah!
11:30 AM, 1:30 PM, 4:00 PM at the Blackstone Stage
